Hydration: An Essential Part of Your Daily Routine

Drink water. Sounds simple, right? But, are you drinking enough water?
If you ever feel thirsty or tired, you might be dehydrated! Hydration is important all year round, but we think about it most during the warmer months when we are more likely to be outdoors in the sun, heat and higher humidity or dry conditions. Really, though, it is important in every season, even in winter. Think about the dry conditions you experience from your home and office heaters. Static, anyone?
There are many signs of mild to severe dehydration.
Here’s just few signs of mild dehydration that you may experience any time of year:
- Thirst
- Cravings

Although these signs can mean other things, there may be a simple solution. Try drinking a glass of quality water and see how much better you feel!
Here are some simple tips on what to look for in your water:
- Good quality filtered water
- Mineral or spring water
- Add a pinch of unrefined mineral salt to a glass of water for a boost of electrolytes
